First Christmas alone. My sons are 1400 miles away. I talked to them for 5 minutes and I've been spiraling down since then. Hit rock bottom and it looks like a really long climb back out.

14. You are going to be fine.

You've had a rough year and went through a tough holiday away from family. You're not feeling it for good reason but it will get better. You are smart and resourceful. You're also a genuinely kind and caring person, and that means that some days will hurt, especially big overblown family days like Xmas. I'm sorry that I can't be there right now to give you a real hug and tell you these things. :hug:

I woke up extra early because someone's coming to tow an old van from my driveway. Purple Heart said they'd be here between 6 and 9 am. I figured they'd show up closer to 9 than 6; but if I planned to sleep in, they'd be here earlier...and I SO want to get rid of this thing!

It may be tricky considering your hours; but I'll bet you would find a great sense of peace and satisfaction by volunteering. Even if it's just one day a week, it can lift your spirits to be involved in something that focuses on the needs of others, or the general good of all.
