Do you feel the need to organize after Christmas?
I have this obsessive drive to organize my life and my living space.

I'm starting with my bedroom. Part of the game plan is to purge the clothes that I haven't worn in a while. I have a small closet that is completely packed with shit I never wear and never will wear. I have already sent my son to the used clothing drop box with one load. It's just the beginning. The purge is on.

What a fucking disaster. My bed is chuck full, the dust bunnies are dancing across the floor, my allergies are kicking into high gear, but the mission is now under way.

1. No. I Very Seldom Feel That Need
Once in a very great while, there'll be enough stuff in the way, that i'll do it. But, it's very rare, only a true necessity. If anything, i'm obsessive about avoiding it.

2. That's why I have such a disaster.
I avoid until I can't stand it anymore. Add the Christmas mess and I am forced into taking action.

5. Sometimes, but I just go have a drink and relax until the feeling goes away.

6. If I celebrated chistmas and got gifts then I probably would.
Whenever I get more stuff I get the urge to organize and get rid of old stuff that I no longer need or use.

9. Nah, I do all that when I move.
And since I have never lived in one place for more than three years, my stuff gets purged fairly regularly. Dog help me if I ever find one place to live for the rest of my life. :o
