Kinda like the ideal presidential candidate matcher, but for cars.

I am currently in the search for a new car and I have no clue what kinds of cars even fit into my category, but I know pretty specifically what I want... Now I need some examples.

Does anyone know of a site like this?

CarTalk has the car-o-matic.

They were wrong about me though; told me I wasn't right for my Subaru.

Just out of curiousity, what are you looking for in a car?

9. Well,
This is kinda what I am looking for...

NECESSITIES
*Small to mid sized
*Under 10K, I could go up to 13K, probably.
*Not a grandma car (mercury, etc)
*Aesthetically pleasing (I'm only 24, I dont want to drive a boat)
*Under 60,000 miles
*At least a 2000 model
*No bad consumer reports

WANTED OPTIONS
*Larger engine. I love my V6!
*Sportier looking (could be jazzed up with spoiler)
*Electric everything
*4 Wheel Drive (probably not going to happen)

I have looked at Subaru's, but they seem so much more expensive and most models are grannie like. I love Saturns, but they have the wimpy engine (except for the new expensive luxery model). I have also looked at Aleros and Jeep Grand Cherokees, but both rank very low in Consumer Reports.

Any suggestions for me?

4. I'm looking for a car too..
Have been for about 6 months now. The only conclusion I've drawn so far is that if you spend less than 18k, every new car sucks. It's amazing how poor the fuel economy is on cheap new cars. I want to buy a hybrid car badly, but I simply can't afford one. :( I'll probably end up buying a mid 90's Honda again, they're good cars but it's hard to justify spending 10k on a boring car with 80,000 miles on it. Car shopping sucks.

6. Look at the Subaru Impreza
not the turbo WRX version, but the TS version. Good on gas, reasonably priced, very nice handling, AWD - it's a nice little car, and very peppy. Look for Internet special pricing on it.
