Have you ever seen the Beastie Boys live?

i saw them at Lollapalooza during their Ill Communications tour. they are one of the greatest shows i've ever seen, and that's saying a lot as in my younger days i tried to make it to every concert i could.

they're only slightly below Right Said Fred in bands i've seen live.

16. Lollapalooza 1994 Dallas.

It had poured rain for the first part of the afternoon. There is a giant hill for general seating, and due to the rain and crazy music fans, there was a giant mud slide started. People would take running starts and slide down the mud-hill. People were lined up on both sides to make a little alley way for safety, and Mike D(pretty sure) was one of the sliders.

That was a great concert....Beastie Boys, George Clinton and P-Funk, The Breeders, A Tribe Called Quest, and the best act of the whole show....Green Day!!

17. I went to see Public Enemy open for them on the "License to Ill" tour.

I hung around for some of their set though. It wasn't my thing (even though Kerry from Slayer does the guitar on the album) but they worked hard.

I can't quite remember what year it was :smoke: but I do recall my roommate being passed out on a blanket and when they came on, she jumped straigh up and starting dancing....

During their License To Ill tour, with Run DMC. Sis and I were about the only white people there. LOL We had a great time. I'd love to see them again.
