Me: "Dad, I have this weird pain in my side." (numb part on my arm/sore place on my leg/weird twitch in my eye, etc., didn't really matter what the complaint was, you get the idea.)

Dad: "Oh really? Huh. My uncle had that same thing. Right before he died."
