When one thing breaks, why does another one have to copy it?
My brand new (OK, 3-month-old) refrigerator broke two days ago. Water won't come out of the dispenser and the vegetables in the drawers all froze, in spite of both the refrigerator and freezer being set to one of the lowest settings. Gotta call tomorrow to see if someone will come and fix it.

Today the coffee maker broke. If it's true that shit happens in threes, something else is going to break soon. (I sure hope it's not one of the Kohler toilets!)

Recently a friend had her camera, car, and computer break all at once.

What's up with that?

1. Wow. And why do things break
right now, when it's hardest to get them repaired. :(

I hope nothing else breaks. This will not come in threes!

2. Sort of like bad news.
How many times do you get a letter on Friday afternoon, once all the business are closed, with something upsetting that you have to wait until Monday to take care of. x(

I hope you're right. But maybe if it has to come in threes, it could be something easy, like a light bulb. WAIT! We DO have a light bulb out in the kitchen and the Lowe's guy already said he'd give us free replacements for any that went out (compact fluorescent bulbs that were supposed to last 5+ years and didn't last 5 months)! That's number three! :bounce:

BTW, you look great in the pics -- and it looks like you had a wonderful time! :toast:

4. Thank you!
I really love it that I was able to dress up. Retrolounge helped me with the buttons. I was able to manage the tie. It's the first time in a year I've worn an oxford shirt. :)

I think I look a bit puffy from the steroids, but I am very glad anyway that I dressed up and look good in those pictures.

12. I love that, too.
I don't know how you normally look, but I didn't think you looked puffy. Just happy.

13. Yeah.
We have another one, but it doesn't make good coffee. Guess it's time for me to switch to tea in the mornings.

I'd be there in a minute if I could.

15. I'm hoping the third was the kitchen light bulb.
Funny -- everything happened in the kitchen. It's cursed, I tell ya! :hi:
