Look what I got for Christmas!


I got a gift card from Barnes & Noble and I wasn't particularly interested in any books, so I ordered this. It's an armillary sphere - I have no idea what it means*, but it looks cool in my bookcase!

*actually, I know what it represents, but I don't understand it very well.

Looks like it belongs in a victorian era study, with a heavy dark wooden desk in the middle of the room and an old-fashioned clock somewhere in the room.
