I know I used to be a handsome guy, but because of the health/pain issues and the way I walk I have long ago stopped thinking of myself as attractive. :(

I also have this talent for not appearing in photographs. People with cameras just seem to avoid seeing me. So I made a point of asking people to take some pictures of me, and boy did they. I can't believe how many photos of me there now are. And I'm very pleased that I look good in them.

I don't know what you looked like a decade ago, but I've always considered you to be one of the hot men on DU and it's not only your basic physical appearance, but the look in and around your eyes, and around your mouth, that is appealing in a fundamental heart-pounding way. I have so few pictures of me that I asked a few people to get some pictures with me in them. And, I was able to wear an oxford and a tie for the first time in a long, long time, so I really wanted to keep some images of this.

I am not sure when I'll ever be dressed up like this again. I am so glad that the pictures came out. That one is definitely my favorite picture of me alone.

You have quite a talent in decorating and just the right sense of what goes where and what looks best. Wonderful pictures on the wall. And I can't get over how immaculately kept you home is. low lights, candles help disguise the dust.

The house is a 60 year old brick farmhouse. All the wood is original. Lelapin gets most of the credit for cleaning, as my asthma keeps me from stirring up a lot of dust. I've enjoyed decorating this house. When I first looked at the place, it just fit like an old shoe...
