Filmmaker Claims Jim Morrison Is Alive In Oregon
NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Here’s news that will light the fire of Jim Morrison fans: A filmmaker claims The Doors’ frontman is alive and raising horses on a ranch in southern Oregon.
Rodeo photographer Gerald Pitts insists Morrison didn’t die in July of 1971 and he has current photographs and film footage of the rocker to prove it.

Pitts, who met Morrison in 1998, says the rocker staged his death because of a French conspiracy to kill him, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix with narcotics because they were all Vietnam war protestors.

These days, Morrison isn’t the drug user he once was, although Pitts says when he goes over to Jim’s house he’ll “maybe have an occasional beer.”

Now Pitts claims that Morrison is announcing he’s alive, in part, to promote his recent agreement to star in a rodeo shoot-out movie based on events that actually happened to Pitts.

Supposedly Current Affair did a story on this in 2005. Anyone ever see this?

I just went and had a look at that website.... wow is it shitty. This guy is a fraud and/or an idiot. What I thought was really funny was the video with Ray Manzarek totally taking the piss out of the guy asking him questions.

First of all, neither Hendrix nor Joplin were "Vietnam war protesters." Nor was Morrison, although some of his less-famous songs had a generic anti-war message.

Second, considering the high esteem France held for the U.S. at that time :sarcasm: , the notion that they would collaborate with the Nixon administration to liquidate anti-Vietnam rock stars is about as far-fetched as you can get. It ranks up there with the guy who posted to alt.conspiracy in 1997 that the C.I.A. poisoned Mother Teresa to move the world spotlight off the murder of Princess Diana by our allies in British and Israeli intelligence. :crazy:

If it were true re: Morrison, then it would be all over the fucking MSM.
We all know media outlets would rather report on celbrity sightings, rather than actually cover and reveal the truth about the horrors of the BFEE/PNAC/Iraq/Pakistan, etc.

The guy who claims it's Jim, is:
1) giving away FREE! a 7.5 min. DVD for the mere S&H price of $7
2) is recruiting unknowns to make some low budget western.
