Hi UndertheOcean. I couldn't find one I liked, this morning, so I wrote this corny little thing for you... and for du. I hope you're feeling better today.

I think I'll have some coffee now.


"Happy New Year"


Another year has passed

just don't look back

It can be a new beginning

the past is past

Whether there was an ending

or not

whether you had peace or fought

Look ahead and say

it will be a new day.

What a difference a day can make

or maybe a year

It's a silly poem

it's a New Year's cheer

My wish for you

is a time of change

it's a wish for me, too

...nothing's the same.

Sorry about being incommunicado. I'm fine. Just sorting through some things. I spent way too much time on the computer in 2007. 2008 will take much more discipline from me if I'm going to get my health back. Please know it's not just you-- I've cut myself off from everyone here at DU. It didn't seem fair to keep some as myspace friends and not others. I hope you'll understand. Happy New Year! :hug:
