of snow on the ground (first of the season), maybe a bit more.

I'm worried about the stray kitties I feed :(

And on edit, I always thought this smilie :scared: was an "I'm cold" smilie. Hmm. Guess I wasn't really paying attention to context.

Stray outside cats are for the most part resilient. If they've been around a while they prolly have a go-to place. Thanks for feeding them :)

40. I'm SW NC...
down near the Georgia border...

Yeah, I know these guys have a few hidey-holes, and my sister (a veterinarian) has said pretty much all they need to do is get out of the wind and they'll be OK, but my nature is to worry about them. I've been feeding them regularly, so they have some excess body fat (they're finicky now, so I know they're not too hungry) and they've got super-thick coats, but still. Worry worry worry. I want to catch the two who regularly stop by (both males) and get 'em snipped soon. :D

Stay warm with your doggies! :hi:

The wind chill makes it -16.

We get everything in the Midwest.

you know who's going to be rich come spring? Roofing people. It's just the beginning of winter and already people are struggling with ice damming in the gutters and I see by the forecast that we're to get more snow turning into rain by the end of the week and so it's just going to get worse.
