Roosevelt harassed the Japanese for almost two years before Pearl Harbor, demanding that the Japanese give up their colonies in China and the other areas of East Asia. The Japanese were not a threat to us, but records show that Roosevelt was trying to goad the Japanese into attacking us first, so that he could give the American people a reason to go after Hitler(the Germans and Japanese had a bilateral defense treaty).

No credible historian today believes that the Pearl Harbor attack was unprovoked. But you won't hear this in your middle school class, Neo Progressive. They doctored it up a bit. If you don't believe me, google it. There are plenty of resources to prove my point. I expect an apology for you calling me an idiot, considering that I was correct in stating that WWII was an unnecessary war. I'll be waiting, and if I don't get it, I'm alerting on your post.

This is another reason why I love DU. It's MODERATED.

americanforum.net has a snitch system where you alert on a post, and if you "win," you get 10 points and the "loser" has 10 subtracted. But if your alert is unfounded, you lose the points, and the falsely-accused gets them.

It's an interesting place to visit for a few minutes - like watching monkeys at the zoo, pleasuring themselves between feces fights.


P.S. Notice how Libertarian 18 doesn't understand his own threat: "expect an apology now ... or i'm alerting on your post ... and you'll get points on your record"

He doesn't even get that added points are a good thing, and what he should be threatening is the loss of points.

why people are libertarians. The first reason is that hey are anarchists. And want society to run without rules.
