I was helping out the local Democratic committee by putting posters up around town announcing the times and date of our upcoming caucus.
After a couple of days, some of these posters showed up missing. No problem, maybe the store owners didn't want their bulletin boards used for politics. (Although I had more evil thoughts).
I had an extra poster in my purse earlier this week and decided to repost it at out largest grocery store because I saw some posters that were political in nature.
Well today I went shopping and there was my poster still up, but it was sharing a tack (my tack) with the announcement of the Republican caucus. Their poster was tucked under mine to share the tack. And the other side of the Republican poster was held up by a tack (which was identically to a now one-tacked poster, advertising a new day care service.) Incidentally this day care poster was flopping around in the wind in danger of ripping and blowing away.
And yes, I moved her ad and shared my other tack with her. I know this story might appear to be petty to some, but I thought I would share it.
