Guns N Roses May take Radiohead Route With Chinese Democracy
http://www.albumvote.co.uk/news/article/2369.htmGuns N Roses have completed the recording of Chinese Democracy and Classic Rock Magazine claim that Axl Rose's band could follow in the footsteps of Radiohead by the releasing it as a download only.
Radiohead invited fans to 'pay what you want' for their In Rainbows album last November before releasing it on CD on December 31 and Classic Rock say that "We suspect that GN'R may follow the RADIOHEAD route of pay-as-you-like downloads. But we stress this has not been confirmed."

“I truly apologize on behalf of the band for our inability to perform at the scheduled party during the Sundance Film Festival. I performed the previous night in Miami in support of the A-Rod Family Foundation, and afterwards a jet was arranged to fly myself and a couple of the crew members to the festival, where I was looking forward to performing. Not only was I hoping to ROCK, but I also wanted to snowboard AND have some well…good and clean fun! Seriously, though…I even already had my ‘one-piece’ long johns on (no shit!!). Now…the problem was that the pilot of the private jet would not…I mean, absolutely would NOT fly us to Park City due to the low visibility and poor weather conditions. We did everything in our power to make it happen. At last minute, Matt
tried to hook up a flight from L.A. to Park City, but the owner of the plane could not find a crew in time.
“I’m sorry…we all are. Who knows…maybe this happened for a reason.”

GUNS 'N ROSES frontman AXL ROSE has confirmed the band's first album in 15 years is finally finished.
The heavy metal group have been working on new LP Chinese Democracy for several years and it's release had been put back indefinitely until renowned perfectionist Rose finished working on the new material. But the singer's personal manager Beta Lebeis confirmed to Metal Hammer magazine that the record was "finished before Christmas". Adding that "everybody knows that".
Lebeis also insists that Rose is currently "in negotiations" to arrange the album's on-sale date, with the magazine reporting rumours of a possible late summer (08) release.
