Even Reuters says 'honorable'...not honorable......busted *

President George W. Bush accused Democrats on February 8, 2004 of misrepresenting his record of attendance in the Air National Guard at the height of the Vietnam war. According to a copy of the National Guard document granting him an 'honorable' discharge on Oct. 1, 1973, Bush completed five years and four months of service -- less than the obligatory six years. No evidence has been found to show he reported to duty in Alabama during a transfer from Texas in the summer and fall of 1972. And there is no arguing he used his father's influence to get that. Dead issue.
Move on.

Kerry on NPR tonight was very good at dodging (pardon the pun) the issue. He turned it into a positive for him and his own agenda.
