Seems like my nana had a stroke :(. She's currently in the hospital.
Hold tough Nana, hold tough. I want her to live to see more, to become a great great grandmother, and to see Bush leave, shes a lifelong dem/ a great grandmother. I dont know the details but could you all send good wishes or a prayer or whatever.

I feel real bad for her, yet there's a part of me that says that though I would be sad if she died, I would be happy for her, shes a widow, 25 years this december, all her siblings and of course parents have gone to heaven.

Its a great thing my dad was there when it happened. I dont know about her chances because I just found out.
BTW, yes despite the fact I am 16, and shes my grandmother she could become a great great grandmother. My dad is the youngest you see and many of his nephews and nieces are old enough to be my parents, and my one cousin had a son in the late 70's who is the great grandson and is married and his wife is pregant. My nana is 91 btw. Thanks again.

Hang in there -- docs are doing some really good work with stroke patients these days. I don't know your Nana's particulars, but just speaking mathematically, the odds are absolutely in her favor.

Years ago, my mom suffered a massive stroke, but she lived another 10 years after that, fully recovered from the stroke. She had great care.

Animals can have a therapeutic effect. I have a friend whose little dog is a registered therapy dog and goes into places to visit with the patients. It will also do your Nana good to see that her little dog is fine and being well taken care of.:-)
