2. How are you enjoying HDnet?

We just got a HDTV cable box this week (Comcast). We have INHD, NBC, CBS, Faux, and ESPNHD. HBO and Showtime are also available but we don't pay for them.

Watched West Wing in HD. That was pretty nice. Leno in HD is scarily sharp. That enormous, Arnold butt kissing head...ewwww.

3. Mine is part of the DirecTV package

ESPN, Discovery, a couple of HD Misc HD channels. The movies tend to be "B" movies for the most part. Seeing Charlies Angels and Hogan's Heros in High Def is pretty wierd (apparently the original series were filmed instead of video taped). Almost any sports in High Def is awesome, but ESPN is pretty spot - most of their stuff is regular defition in the wide format.

4. Orwellian movie

The movie stays with you. Remember when people got fired over being sick for a few days?

I was once fired for being sick for four days in six months. The stinky stuff the cleaning woman used gave me a huge headache. She would put Naphta salts in the dumb waiter. Ugh. It took days for my eyes and face to stop hurting.

I have sinus problems and strong smells bother me. Another person took off six months for pneumonia and they did nothing.
