Wish me luck....I'll be humiliating myself shortly....
The things we do for love!

The SO has convinced me to participate in his SCCA Solo2 event today.
In other words, a car race.
Nothing fancy, one car at a time (solo) through a course marked out at a local race track...but still....
Never done anything like it.
To make matters worse, he just had the clutch replaced yesterday, and when I tried it out, it drives totally different now! I'll be lucky to not stall it. :-(
And here I was just hoping to not be the worst one out there today.
*sigh*

2. Thanks!
I'll try to post some pics of the event afterwards if any are taken of me driving.

I'll be wearing a helmet and the SO has a racing harness.
I'll probably be going to slow to be a danger to myself anyway!
:silly:

3. Good luck--you can borrow my car--it'll stall out before you get started,
so you won't really have to participate!

4. We should ALWAYS try things we've never done before...
It makes us grow.

It gives us memories.

And, it gives us something to brag about. :-)
