This will be the last of these threads to to decisions made by the Administration several hundred posts ago. I have a few people to thank.
First and foremost to everyone that has ever posted here (who wasn't a disrupter) and more specifically to everyone to every responded to one my threads and and everyone who wrote the threads I posted in. You people have provided creative fuel for me, and I hope I have done the same.
Secondly to EarlG and Skinner, the glorious and immortal founders of the Democratic People's Republic we call Democratic Underground. We couldn't be half as evil without you.
To the DU Grovelbot, who provided a voice of calmness in the most riled up debates. "Cast in the Name of Mod, Ye Should Give to DU" (DU-Mail me if you get that, please) See ya in three months.
To all the Democratic presidential candidates. Your motives may not be pure, I may disagree with you on many things, but you all have kept up the traditions of America's longest-running political party (except for slavery and defending the South from the carpet-bagger onslaught) and helped *'s defeat in November. Special props go to the
obscure candidates who would love the level of coverage
Kucinich and Sharpton get. Stay strong. You may decide the fate of the free world. ;(
And one last thanks to the GW Bush administration. Through your sloppy policies and unjust war in Iraq, you unified the left and the Democratic party after a time of deep division. Because of you, Michael Moore endorsed Wes Clark. Your services to the Democratic Party and ultimately America will be remembered (only because you contributed to your defeat.
