Depends on the phone and the service. I keep a list of the codes bookmarked cause I use them so little I forget which one to use. Here's the link http://www.tech-faq.com/lass-codes.shtml

5. I'd be interested to see an answer.
I assume it was Ford that started calling me from freaking Britain (I'm in the USA) 3 times a week leaving robomessages telling me my warranty was about to expire. Knowing the good hearted industry that the telecom industry is, I was afraid I'd get charged huge for just listening to the message long enough to make them stop calling.

11. Don't think so.
If the name of the caller comes up on the caller ID, you can just hit the end call button and it will go to your voice mail if you have it.
