Is it just me or are West Wing episodes this season getting much better?

After the first couple dramatic ones this season where Zoe was kidnapped the show started to be crap, with bad writing and stories and all.

But since they started this new batch of episodes starting a couple weeks ago, they've been enjoyable to watch.

I especially liked this week's where CJ put that Repuke show host in his place and Leo had his Vietnam flashbacks while they had to recover the soldiers in North Korea.

I hope things stay this good!

1. I think so.

Tonight's was a far cry better than any I've sen this season. Haven't watched the last two yet, though -- they're on tivo, waiting for us.

Maybe it's John Sacret Young added to the team. He was a major player (exec. producer, I think?) of "China Beach," another fabulous drama.

2. China Beach and Homefront

Two of the best series that ABC ever had...and they screwed both of them over.

Was sad when "China Beach" ended.

Seem to me that the funny banter between the staff is gone.... and that was one of the things I loved most about the show.

5. I think they're getting worse

Every week it's another huge international crisis. As MissMillie said, there's no banter, no fast paced dialogue. Without Sorkin, the show is nothing like it used to be.

I have the 1st season DVD, and watching it demonstrates how good the show used to be.

Sadly, I think I see the Fonz on his waterskis, preparing to jump that shark.

Or are they repeating themselves so often it all looks the same.

9. Last night was the third of FIVE NEW EPSIODES!!!!!!!!

And they aren't even "super sized" *

*In NBC lingo "super sized" means one new show ............and one repeat.

8. I just started watching it.

Bravo has it on at 7pm (reruns) and I'm hooked! They are at the episode when Zoe is kidnapped and the Prez turned over the power to Speaker of the house.

I love this show.

10. Bravo has been running it for a few months now

and this week they just finished up LAST season.

Unfortunately, it goes downhill from there.
