1. Well, I'm AT work 40 hours a week.
Spend half of that time on DU, but who's complaining?

But that doesn't include being mother, wife, stepmother, housekeeper, cook, chief bottle washer, laundress, bill payer, grocery shopper, etc., etc...

7. I object to the student being defined as working from (0-12) hours...
For one, our course load are from 12-18 and most of us study outside of class (4-12)

Id say around 12-30 hours is a student work week, with the better ones heading in the 20+'s

paid work for 12 hours outside your school...

FYI: i took 18 credits every semester at nyu and worked 20-25 hours of paid work a week and made the dean's list so i am not so sympathetic to your objection

9. you forgot
other --
35 hours. After that it's overtime.
In America of all places. In New York. I know I'm very lucky.
Actually I also paid some very heavy dues for three or four years.

It's because I work for a firm that is based originally in London and has only one office in the United States in New York, so they have to have legitimate work standards if they want any of their European employees transfer over to the US.
