I usually get plants, unless I know the person isn't a gardener/houseplant person. I love cut flowers, but prefer to receive plants I can put in the garden (perennials rule!!)
4) Phones: Love 'em or hate 'em?
I like the convenience of cell phones in a way, as long as not everyone on the planet has my number. I'm hoping to get cell phone service that will allow me to get rid of the landline. I hate telephones, generally.
5) What's your favorite color?
Cobalt blue - I collect cobalt glass and I'm totally hooked.

1) Celtics, Lakers, or don't care? - Couldn't care less, but since Boston won the first game I'm rooting for them. Why? I want the series over ASAP so that sports talk radio (which I rely on at work to keep me from dying of boredom) will discuss something else. Go, Celts, sweep the series and get sports radio back on baseball.

2) Tent or hotel? - Hotel. Give me room service and maid service any day.

3) Cut flowers or plants? (giving or getting) - I give flowers, prefer plants for myself.

4) Phones: Love 'em or hate 'em? I, too, like the convenience of cell phones. I don't answer all the time, though.

5) What's your favorite color? Hard to say. I like color combinations more - green/blue, pink with orange.

Actually, my preference is a sleeping bag under the stars but I mostly use a tent now.

They are a tool - I neither love nor hate them. I simply use them as I need to and have no problem ignoring them.

If it's sports, I'm totally indifferent.

Hotel, and as luxurious as I can possibly afford. (My girlfriend spent her wedding night in a tent. This does not compute for me.)

I usually give cut flowers- right now I'd like a flowering hanging plant to add to the ones I have- the lazy woman's substitute for gardening.

Phones are a useful pain in the ass- usually when a friend calls me I'm not in the mood to talk so I'll call back later. Seem to be getting a million nuisance calls too,lately- have to renew my Do Not Call thing.

BTW, there is evidence connecting cell phone use to brain tumors-- try not to use them too much!-- Don't give up your land line.
