What odd things are you driving around with because they got left in the car?
Currently, I have an umbrella, 42 plastic bags from my daughter emptying out her dorm room, a novel that I read last year, a towel and 150# of chicken feed.

1. The entire back of my SUV is filled with elementary art lessons and materials.
This includes: snowflake stampers, construction paper bits and pieces, block printing brayers, glitter glue, clean cottage cheese containers, a couple of children's books, three tote bags full of junk from my 3 desks, and other assorted detritus.

I have to clean it out to make room for the summer stuff now!!! SCHOOL IS OUT!!!

10. It's only been there since yesterday afternoon, honest!
I'll move it tomorrow before it gets too hot!

I forgot to mention that the trunk has assorted odd belts that my husband removed because they were worn out but would serve in case of an emergency. The only problem is that the car never dares to break down when he's driving, only when I'm driving and he's at least 200 miles away!

and i had a lot of stuff in there including a bunch of cd's (idiot!) and my sunglasses so nothing stays in my car at all.

9. Three very nice wooden Dom Perignon cases
sans the Dom, more's the pity.

Most everything else in there is stuff that's supposed to be there, though - I don't tend to leave things in my car but I carry a lot of stuff around.

Spare clothing just in case
A jug of water
Tools
A couple of flashlights
A coil of rope
Windshield washer fluid
Brake fluid
A quart of oil

Stuff like that.

37. Well, the game sets aren't really for survival
Just Impromptu poker parties, etc. The poker set has two decks of cards.

And the backgammon set has dice AND a doubling cube. I also carry the Book of Questions in the glove box. It's great for long trips as a conversation starter.

And I have a pocket dictionary. I figure it more or less contains all the other books. And a pocket slide rule. Useful for figuring gas mileage though I get some looks at the pumps.

to see a movie. He made the mistake of purchasing popcorn. We were in the adjacent car, and we could hear this plaintive cry half-way through the movie "My car! My ca-a-a-ar!"

49. I always thought that would make a good game show ,ala Monty Hall
in "Let's Make A Deal". At the end of the show he would go up to people and offer them like $50 if they had a stamp and a hairpin in their purse. I can totally see this in the street with people nowadays. We do end up with some oddball things in our vehicles.
Maybe they could drive up at random gas stations and you could win a couple of gallons of gas (!) because you had a flute case and an empty bottle of juice in you car!
