I'm having a nice can of ice-cold lager. I just walked my doggie to the town center and came back with a full shopping bag, a mop, and a rake.

Just resting my sweaty self on the couch and wanting to kill some time!

3. Nope
It's Carling. I had some cider yesterday with my new husband, and I much prefer Carling.

8. Thanks!
Just got married 3 weeks ago. It feels a bit strange being a Mrs instead of a Miss!

2. Gonna be close to 100 degrees (F) here today!
I'm very grateful for my A/C!
I'm guessing you don't have A/C over there....

4. I do not think we have AC
We just moved into this house last October so I haven't experienced the heat yet, and our only AC is opening the windows the few times it became hot.

5. Aviod alcohol in the heat.
It dehydrates the body. Have a nice tall glass of water, you'll feel better! (Ok, you actually will feel better with the beer but you really need to stay hydrated)

How hot is it? I consider anything over 90 degrees F (32 C) hot. Throw in 50-60% humidity & now were talkin hot!

6. I had lots of water on the walk!
Just needed something cold! Currently it says 25 C (77 F) on Weather.co.uk.

It's not that hot compared to your hot temperature, but coming from Minnesota it's pretty damn hot! :-D

Edited on Mon Jun-09-08 12:07 PM by JustABozoOnThisBus
Doesn't it seem hotter when you state it in Fahrenheit?

12. One more reason I like Fahrenheit
Herr Fahrenheit had the good sense to name it "Fahrenheit", less confusing for me.

And Lord Kelvin named his scale "Kelvin".

Celcius/Centigrade makes my head hurt.

I guess I'd be lost in Britain. I still think of money in terms of Guineas, Farthings, and half-Crowns.
