2. I live 20 miles from them and I was cutting my grass while it was occurring
Sunny and warm here the whole time. And very windy.

3. Dayum. Did you know it while it was going on?
There was a big one in April 2002, an F4 that touched down about five miles as the crow flies from my house. We spent fifteen minutes in the basement wondering if we'd have a roof or any cats when we went back upstairs.

5. Are you referring to the LaPlata tornado?
That was a pretty terrible one.

It kept on going and sliced through my home county after it had devestated LaPlata.

Have they rated it yet? Was it an EF-3? Sure looked like one to my untrained eyes.
