http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=63529There's only 3 or 4 responses but they all seem to agree the Bigfish toolbar is adware. All toolbars are adware, that's why companies are always so persistent that install them. BTW adware and spyware are synonymous. They monitor what you do online to they can target advertising to your interests.
You could easily uninstall that toolbar to see if that's the culprit. If it's not you can just download and install it again. Should just take minutes. This MAY be the problem. I never install any toolbars. I never found them to be helpful enough to warrant the screen space and I don't trust 'em. A lot of times they cause conflicts.
PS: If you do uninstall Bigfish and things aren't immediately better, reboot the computer. Some changes don't take effect until the computer's rebooted.
PS2: Did you try System Restore? I would try that second because it'll take a little longer. 10-15 minutes sometimes. You don't have to do anything, you just have to wait.
