I haven't listened to them in years, but it's interesting stuff, for sure. I think it's very interesting that they were doing a very unique version of electronic music in Japan (as distinct from the European stuff, like Kraftwerk), but don't really get the credit for the influence they had, probably because of their location. Granted, some of it is just straight up bizarre, at least to use westerners, so that could have something to do with it as well, but it also adds to my enjoyment of it.
