Ok amuse me I am waiting for results for my son he may have a ruptured appendix. It is funny in a
way because we were both going to have x-rays in the morning me for a hot spots on a bone scan and him for pain in the foot opposite to the knee he had surgery on several weeks ago.

1. Glad you are taking care of it.
A ruptured appendix can go real bad. Good luck with your x-rays too.

5. How is your son doing?
I have seen surgeons put off a surgery because they needed sleep. In some cases, I am sure that is a good thing, but with a ruptured appendix, waiting doesn’t help.

7. Morning, buzzard.
I hope that the docs have determined what's going on and are proceeding with treatment. It sounds like you had a scary night.

8. My husband just called and they took him for an ultrasound a couple of hours ago and he is
still not back. I would go myself but we are also waiting to hear from our daughter who was supposed to call us from Honduras to let us know she arrived safely at the place she will be working. She left in June and was doing research dives with a couple of Professors and marine biologists who are assessing the reefs, that part is over and she should have called by now to let us know she is at the marine park where she will continue on with reef assessment. It is hard not to worry she is usually good at keeping us updated.

10. Just got back from the hospital and he has had his appendix removed, he is in the maternity ward, I
found it quite nostalgic because that is where he was born. It was nice to see the room he was in because it was ground level and one could see the large tree outside his room and the cottage like homes across the street. I thought to myself that most hospitals these days are high rise with no views worth looking at, but this really was a nice view. Ok I am rambling but just glad that he is OK. I just tried to find the cost of this surgery in the US if we were uninsured and from what I have found it could be about 14 to 25 thousand dollars. I don't know how the average person could afford this surgery it makes me sad.
