I made up my sigline pic myself. It's my cat on my kitchen table. Pretty specific.
Someone has copied it to use as their sig pic.
Creepy?
Dunno what to think.
They could have asked first.
What's the etiquette in your opinion?

1. What's this etiquette of which you speak? |
|
There's your answer.
Honestly, you should expect anything involving cats and politicians to get snatched.

2. the other person probably thought it was a generic |
|
kitty from the ICHC site.
You could probably ask them nicely to stop using it, explaining that it is your kitty and chances are they would not be offended.

That person probably figured you got it off the internet, so it's free to use. I doubt that person knows that you made the image.
I'd take it as flattery that he (she?) liked your work and want's to use it too. He clearly shares your goal of raising money for Obama.
I'd send a nice PM saying, "I'm glad you like the LOLCat image I created. Please use it with my blessing."

5. I think that you stole the image |
|
And then you bought a similar cat and redesigned your kitchen to throw off suspicion.
You fiend.
