Went to the gas station this morning...
Stood next to a pump...

Starting crying uncontrollably, then I wet myself.

The guy pumping gas next to me asked me what was the matter.

I said..."Don't mind me. I'm just whining and having a little mental recession".

1. I have absolutely no idea how to respond to that
other than to say,

:hi: Hi Philboy. I hope you have a good day.

2. Good morning Thom...
and the same to you.

I was actually referring to Phil Gramm's comments about us being a nation of "whiners" when it comes to the economy.

Fuck Phil Gramm

3. Pretty brave guy at the next pump, I take it someone blew out the match?
If I saw someone wetting him or herself with petrol, my first instinct would be to move away, quickly. You are a big guy and while crying at the pump these days is de rigueur, dousing ones self does bring up questions of stability. I would reassure you, things will get better, but, well...

15. I know! Philboy, I was just playing with you.
And for the record, I would not run from someone pouring gas on him or herself, I would do the maladaptive tactic and move toward them, I have done plenty of stoopid things like that and am still whole.

16. Funny you should say this....
Just the other night I was having a conversation with a friend on how it is natural for your body to move toward someone when they are injured or in danger.

What I mean is...if you see someone fall, or someone trying to harm themselves...I find that I just naturally "move" toward them, without thinking about it. Very interesting talk that we had about it.

And I knew you were just playing! :)

6. I'm thinking this morning about what Gramm said...
and also about how McCain said he could not use the internet.

And I'm thinking the people who "lead" us are totally fucking nuts.

I mean...Jesus Christ...sit down at a fucking computer for 2 hours John, and you will learn everything you need to know.

He wants to be President, and he can't take the time to learn how to use the internet? This is the same guy that has no idea how much gas costs. Where is your curiosity John?

And as far as Phil Gramm goes, well...I seriously wish he would go fuck himself.

7. Gramm's comment showed just how out of touch he is with most of the country.
I hope it sticks like glue to McCain.

9. I hope so too.
I just don't get it...

I'm starting to think that "regular" people should be in charge of this country.

How the fuck can you not know what the price of gas is. Didn't he hear SOMEWHERE in his travels that gas is over $4/Gallon? How could you not know that?

Also...I know many older people that do not know how to use the internet...BUT...this guy is running for President!! Why would he not ensure he had at least a basic understanding of how to use it?

relief (John McCain, last month)

11. It is strange...
Before he was running officially, I had a certain amount of respect for the guy due to my perception of his service during war time.

Then, I heard he called his wife a c*** publicly.

Then, I started noticing his little "anger" problem.

Then, I realize he can't use the internet and does not know the price of gas.

So now, I just think he is fucking stupid.

all those little lovable details about good Old John McCain?

Those little details are just kind of "laughed off".

To me, they signify serious problems.

8. LOL!!!!
How ya doin' sweetie? :hi:

Wanna know what's REALLY weird? Down here in South Jersey the gas prices are DROPPING. Yeah, you heard me....they're going down.

They were averaging $3.99 about 10-14 days ago - now it's at $3.84.

10. Doing well Jersey Girl! How are you?
:hi:

I was in Jersey a few months ago, near Philly, and I noticed that the gas prices were indeed lower than they are here in upstate New York. The price has dropped recently here also, but seems to be climbing back up now. I think it is at $4.15 at the station near me.

You were a straight run on I-295 for me. We coulda had lunch!

If you were staying in a hotel, I'm assuming you were on Route 73.

Make sure you let me know next time! :)

20. OK!
Yes, Route 73 sounds right.

We went to a very good Italian restaurant there...I can't remember the name of it, but it was on the main drag there, probably Route 73, right across from a huge liquor store.

25. You're a smart man....
Few people realize that spontaneous drooling and wetting yourself are the best defense mechanisms found in nature.

If you are about to get into a fight with someone, just look at them, drool profusely, and wet yourself. They won't fuck with you.
