Do you save your pm's, or delete them?

Good lord.....I have brazillions of pm's - and when it comes to communications, I prefer to save them rather than delete them.

Is there a way to organize them, or do they just sit in the inbox in the order they showed up?

I've considered copying and pasting them into Word Docs and placing them in folders....is there an easier way that any of you have figured out?

1. I usually go on a deleting binge about once every six months.

I keep ones that have phone numbers, addresses, etc., but all the others get the heave ho.

2. Do you have people on your buddy list that you have no idea who

they are or why they are on your list. I have a couple from three or four years ago, that I have never pm'ed or gotten a pm from.

i guess i should try and figure out who they are (they were not ts'ed, though)

I should probably delete some..But some have some pictures in them that I couldn't bear to part with.

If there's one thing I have pounded into my head, it's "Always keep documentation!!!"

And so unless I find a way to organize and condense them, my inbox will eventually explode. :)

a select all, or a drag-drop style interface would do wonders.

I've had so damn many, and many are precious to me...

The solution I've hit on is to print them out, and keep them in a big binder!

Then I erase them!

I try to do this monthly, but usually I fail...

16. Save

I have them going back a few years.. It's nice to look back at them and reflect sometimes

17. I have TONNES (yes, the enormity of the volume warrants the British spelling)

and I'm too lazy to delete them. Until I get a message from the admins telling me I'm crashing the DU servers, there they'll stay. :shrug:
