We need a standardized Lounge Scale of Pain for when we whine
about our daily owies.

It would simply be more efficient to assign our aches a number so everyone here knows if we're simply kvetching or really screaming in agony.

I'll start by suggesting we base it upon someone we all know who constantly hurts like a mofo but always manages to keep a zen fukkit attitude here- ThomCat. We can call it the TC Graduated Scale of Shit I'm In Pain.

Fer instance, using a 50 point TC-SIIP Scale, right now I feel I'm at about a 23 to 25.

I'm open for suggestions and improvements, of course.

As they say, "Discuss."

But sometimes I just feel not well..as I told someone today..my fatigue makes me feel like I've been run over by a bus.
How would that rate on your scale?

3. That sounds just like me.
I started out the day feelin' good and with plenty to do. THEN I stopped at my sister's house to walk Lady- in over-100 degree heat. By the time we got back and crawled into the house my legs felt like lead and I'd lost about five pounds in sweat.

My back's been aching something fierce ever since- I can barely get out of my chair right now.

Pain is pain. Go for it!
