I Now More Then Ever Believe In Afterlife
Edited on Fri Jul-18-08 11:06 PM by Parche
My Mom came home last night from the hospital, and was in fantastic spirits, I was with her the whole night, as she went downhill fast
we had to give her morphine every hour, with her eyes wide open she , I know was talking with my stepdad, and talked about a door that was open, it wasnt her time yet, 4:00am
We went to breakfast, came back home and everyone else went for a
bike ride just to get out.
I was in the chair, dozed off for a few minutes and awoke suddenly, feeling disorientated, looked over, and knew that she was gone.........

I hope you're as well as can be expected. I'm glad you were able to be there with her.

Do you have family and friends around you for support? Are the arrangements taken care of, or being taken care of? I hope you're not dealing with any more stress right now. :(

10. I'm so very sorry.
And of course there is an afterlife. Nothing is finite, and we were all "somewhere" before we were here.

11. They always seem to go when everyone has left...
My mother did the same thing. I left her at the hospital (we had just had my baby the week before; I had to get him home) and as soon as I got home, got the call.
Go figure.
My deepest sympathies.
Of course there's an afterlife...I personally just don't see how there could not be!

12. Your sorrow is shared Parche...
My mom passed eleven years ago. Much too young at 59, but the pain she endured was relieved in death and I was glad for that. Nothing or no one can replace a mom, but their memories live in us and I hope time will brighten her memory in you as my mom's has in me. Peace to you Parche.

14. there is more to us than is given credit for.
the mourning is mostly selfish
in the end we are all us and we will all meet again in some way.

it's been done trillions of time,

15. I feel your pain
My mother died in May after a long battle with COPD. I can only offer this:

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. Kahlil Gibran

16. It wasn't her time yet BUT...
we all go when it's truly our time - not a second before or after.

I believe that she is free from pain and suffering and her life force is now part of the joyous Divine. When it's your time, you'll experience her energy again.

17. What a wonderful thing to learn from such a loss
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. It must be hard. I agree that there is an afterlife. Be open to the possibility that your mother may visit you in your dreams within the next couple of weeks.
