Best. Smoothie. Ever.
One sliced banana
One sliced, peeled freestone peach
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
6 ounces of lite vanilla yogurt
2 cups round ice cubes
1/4 cup 1% milk
2 tablespoons honey

Put it all in a blender, use the "ice crush" setting first, then the "blend" setting for about 60 seconds. Makes roughly 3 12-ounce smoothies.

To. Die. For. :9

*sips*

1. I'm sorry but I have to ask...
what's so important about the shape/texture of the ingredients if you're just going to put 'em in the blender.

round ice cubes?

2. Well, I was trying to convey the type that I used because
some blenders have issues with fully crushing the "normal" ice-tray ice cubes. I used the ones that come in a bag from the convenience store, but I wasn't sure what else to call them, other than "round".

The shape doesn't matter, of course. But the thickness/density might. :hi:

3. Gotcha.
I guess I take my Kitchen Aid for granted.

Pineapple is a slam-dunk smoothie ingredient, btw.

6. I don't like watermelon, but I'm open to the idea of
pretty much all other non-melon fruits.

I'm waiting for the price of strawberries to go down a bit more so we can get some and make strawberry smoothies. Cherry-lime is also a favorite.

My son prefers banana/peanut butter. Kids! :hi:
