Ain't it?
So here's to all of us whose loved ones are far away when they get sick. All we can do is sit and fuss and wait for the doctor to see the labs and for the radiologist to read the CT scan from home (!) and and and then wait for the news.
Night shift in the ER.

When I was growing up (an out of place Air Force brat in the deep south with a measured IQ of 160 ... a fish out of water) the only person who was good to me was my brother in law Randy. He has asbestosis and lung cancer. Just had 1/3 of his "good" lung removed. So I can easily feel ya. Check yer personal mail box ... I am sending my cell phone number. If ya need someone to talk to, I'm on call.
