i am moving in eight days and have done absolutely nothing

i keep looking around my house, slightly horrified by the amount of work i still have to do but still can't get my happy self motivated to get started.

it's not so much the moving that i hate as it is the packing and cleaning x(

i'll provide the pizza and beer if any of you loungers want to come help :D

1. How big is your place?

I moved from a house last year. It took me a long time (months) to go through stuff, decide what I'm taking, what I'm giving to friends, what I'm donating, etc. Once you make that decision, then you have to pack it.
If you're moving from a studio apartment, you can do everything in less than a week. If your place is bigger than that, you'll need that week and maybe more.

2. i'm in a two bedroom apartment

but one of the bedrooms belongs to my roommate, so i don't have to deal with that.

i really don't have much furniture (bed, dresser, vanity, bookcase, coffee table and entertainment center) and i'm getting rid of the couch and the portable dishwasher, so all i am really going to have is the boxes and i can get those packed up in a day or so.

i'm more concerned about the cleaning part of it...i hate cleaning and it's been some time since i've done a real deep clean here

10. The last time I moved I didn't start packing until two days before moving day.

I got it all done with ten minutes to spare when my dad showed up with his truck. I procrastinate with the best of them.
