Go on... give it a listen. it's not a depressing song at all.

Might even make you feel better, if you weren't.

:toast:

Oh, and crank up the volume too!! ;)

PS. Sorry. I forgot to add that this video is A video made from Stephen King's: The Stand

Don't watch it... just listen to the song!

Sorry!!

"BURNIN' FOR YOU"

by BLUE OYSTER CULT

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bo2Aypi0R2c

Home in the valley
Home in the city
Home isn't pretty
Ain't no home for me

Home in the darkness
Home on the highway
Home isn't my way
Home will never be

Burn out the day
Burn out the night
I can't see no reason to put up a fight
I'm living for giving the devil his due

And I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you

Time is the essence
Time is the season
Time ain't no reason
Got no time to slow

Time everlasting
Time to play besides
Time ain't on my side
Time I'll never know

Burn out the day
Burn out the night
I'm not the one to tell you what's wrong or what's right
I've seen signs of what (freezing their eyes) went through

Well I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you

Burn out the day
Burn out the night
I can't see no reason to put up a fight
I'm living for giving the devil his due

And I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you
I'm burning, I'm burning, I'm burning for you

Guess you better use your time wisely. ;)

6. The thing I like most about DFTR.....
The song was put together with machine like precision. Every note is played exactly when it should be for those wonderful chords and harmonies!

7. It's insane how they have every note in place and the timing is impeccable!
I forgot how much I loved this song until I found the CD!

I really need to get with it... and I have a burner!

What am I waiting for?

12. See, if you had said 'moogue' or 'amp' or 'melodica', I might have caught on
But an actual 'cow bell'? Not in my repertoire! :P

14. breeze, i gotta tell you
this is on my list of all time favorite songs

when i taped the stand on tv (years ago) they played this song over the opening sequence and i LOVED IT!

i used to put the tape in just to watch the opening (the combo of this song and the scenes/shots they used)

i thought it was wonderful. thanks for the memories--& this song i'm playing now.
