1. Oh, god, Dallas --- if you're flying east coast to west, never

take American (unless it's a non-stop). We were stalled in Dallas for hours because of severe thunderstorms. :(

Mid-morning break in my Arlington office I went outside for the second of my (down to) five smokes a day, and Whoa Nelly! It was overcast, raining and not hellishly hot! It was (dare I say it?) actually enjoyable to stand outside.
