Julia Child was a SPY!

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Famed chef Julia Child shared a secret with Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg and Chicago White Sox catcher Moe Berg at a time when the Nazis threatened the world.

They served in an international spy ring managed by the Office of Strategic Services, an early version of the CIA created in World War II by President Franklin Roosevelt....

3. It's weird this is so in the news now -- this is really old news

It was in that terrific bio on her, and more info has come out during the years. There's where she met Paul Child, who was an uberspy for the OSS.

I always loved Julia, and started watching "The French Chef" on PBS when I was about 12. The station came out of Wilimgton, DE, but it was toll-free.
