I liked it o.k. but it was super long and weird in spots and the acting was just bad.

On second thought, I guess that does make it a great zombie movie.

Coupled by the first viewing in a theatre in Atlanta where the patrons were not adverse to screams and talking to the characters made it a most memorable and fun film....

Also because Tom Savini and I have crossed paths a few times.

It was much better than I expected. Still, I have to vote for Romero's original.

Maybe I'm a sick bastard: When the guy made it all the way through the night without getting eaten by zombies, only to be capped by the local rednecks the following morning, I laughed my ass off! The B&W original was the third DVD I ever bought. (oooo! Maybe I'll start a thread!)
