1. Some of us will feel mighty blessed by your visit.
I hope you enjoy your time (like it could be a letdown? C'mon...)

Other than the hobnobbing with the goobersmoochers, what's on your schedule?

3. Well, you've got to try to get to the mountains, at least for a bit.
If the weather's good, take a hike -- Mt. Falcon overlooking the city is beautiful, and Chautauqua Park in Boulder is fun and easy to get to.

If you can't get out of the city, the Platte River and Cherry Creek trails are great walks and take you up and down through the area -- past Elitch's, Mile High Stadium, Pepsi Center, Confluence Park (where the two streams meet), and several parks along the way. It's a good way to enjoy the weather without going too far from downtown. And, if you have a bike, they go for dozens of miles in each direction.

And this will sound weird, but the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster is strangely awesome. http://www.butterflies.org/

5. Ava, talked to your mom yesterday.
If you want to see the mountains, you and your friends can come to our house for a couple of hours. We'll drive. We won't even make you change the litter boxes.;-)

8. If you're downtown with a little time to spare, don't miss the Tattered Cover
Their Lodo store is beautiful to see and great to browse in, if you're a book lover.

If you're a couple miles farther east on Colfax, they have a new store in a renovated theater that is just as beautiful.

Can't believe I didn't recommend that right off the bat.
