If you want me to help pay your bills then don't bitch when I work OT on weekends

A couple months ago my girlfriend asked me for some help paying her bills. I agreed.
Today I told her I had to work overtime this weekend. She had attitude over me working on "our time" (time that we usually spend together).

at the very first sign of a bitch, just say, "I agree with you honey, overtime sucks, I was only doing it to pay your bills. I will be home, and you can pay your own bills, and EVERYONE will be happy. I know I will be."

Problem solved.

I supported a pretty much worthless male for seven years, while his income went to "child support". Oh, and I supported his two minor children who lived with us, as well. When he had an affair and blamed it one the fact that I worked too much I was very amused. I didn't know it at the time, but I was amused. Now I see the humor in it, anyway.
