20. Attempt at translation
Doesn't make a lot of sense in Portuguese either.

Beast from the wild
The gang was around there
Beast from the wild
Easy or I'll fall
Beast from the wild
Damn pretty beast
Beast from the wild
The gang was around there
And said so:
Beast from the wild
I want you for me
I'll just go away
But I'll only put my cap
Where I can get it back
Easy goes far
Easy I'll get there
Beast from the wild
The gang was around there
Beast from the wild
Easy or I'll fall

23. Batucada
is rythmn as someone else answered. It has its origins in Africa, because brazil had the largest slave trade anywhere, and the new arrivals kept the old spirit alive. The slaves used to gather at night to chant and sing (the only way they could keep sane) using primitive instruments and developed into what you hear today.
Here are several instruments you might hear about
Birimbao - a long piece of bamboo, curved with one wire string to play on. The top has a little drum like bulb (more coconut i think) which they use to add drum rythmn to.
Quica - a small hollow drum with an inner piece of dried intestine hanging from the drum top to the bottom of the hollowed out part. The player can then use his hands or a wet cloth to rub it up and down and produce a rythmn.
Caixinha - (small box) you dont see this often, but when brazilians would gather on the street together, they would take out a matchbox and start drumming on it. They would even finds some sticks and tatoo a melody on lamp posts, fences etc...
I know you didnt ask for all this, just thought you might be interested.
