I have just been DEAD for eleven hours

Turned out I needed that sleep. :o

That was the first night in my own bed for over two weeks. When I woke up in the middle of the night for a pee, I had no idea where the hell I was. Thankfully some sort of low-level instinct managed to navigate me to the toilet.

It's so quiet around here ... not like you're noisy or anything. Just fewer people walking around. Harleydad just went out, so it's REALLY quiet now.

8. I had one of those in Argentina.

Compounded with all the wandering with coaches and walking, I didn't sleep well in this one hostel. Whether it was the thin high altitude air or smacking my head on the low doorway (twice to really feel like a fucking eejit!). Anyway, at the next village, I took a room to myself crashing for 11 hours, followed by a couple more catnapping. Sometimes you need along, long kip.

i spent six weeks away from home back in college. the first morning i woke up in a panic because i had no idea where i was and was afraid i was going to miss my train :rofl:
