it's a common misconception, but while leap years do not occur in years divisible by 100, the exception is if those years are also divisible by 400. therefore 2000 was a leap year.

Just a little correction.

You can't say that.

You CAN say there was noone born Feb. 24, 1900.

But when one says EXACTLY 104 years old, that just means 104yr * 365.24 days/yr old +/- a few seconds of error, and while most everyone born that many days ago are dead, I bet there might be one or two left. They would have born on Feb. 28 or March 1, I don't feel like doing THAT much math right now, but they'd be EXACTLY 104 years old as based on the earth reaching the same point in its orbit from the day of birth.

Our nomenclature is only in attempt to symbolize.
