Prediction on Next Years Academy Awards.

Based on the success of Mel Gibson’s movie “Passion”, I predict that next years awards will look like a meeting of the Moral Majority and Christian Right. Host will be Ralph Reed and the picture of the year will be “Integrity, the George W. Bush Story.”

2. Not a chance...

...Gibson and his film are wildly unpopular among Hollywood insiders.

I have no idea what will happen this coming year, as opposed to last year. When last year's ceremony ended, I was telling everybody that it was the first time when next year's awards were decided in advance...unless Return of the King was a disaster, it would win practically everything, regardless of the competiton, simply because voters wouldn't miss the last chance to honor the entire trilogy. As we see, I wasn't wrong.

3. Yep, I agree. The film is going strong now but by the time......

...the nominations are set-up again it will be just a hack film in
the mind of many hollywood folks.
Also, films that come out early in the year usually have a rough time
winning awards......check the past.
