I had an old school hometown Sunday today....

Which means I got up to start curling at 8:00 then played til 11:00. Afterward me and the boys headed over to the legion and began drinking at 11:30. Then around 1:30, when we're fairly goosed, the wives and girlfriends arrive to have a rum toddy, scold the men then take them home where they sleep it off on the couch till about 3:30.

Usually then it's off to some older relative's for dinner and more boozing.

As fun as it was, it always reminds me why I moved outta the tri-cities and into downtown.

You know how to curl? Cool, my husband loves watching that. He's always bummed when they show very little of it during the Olympics...

across town.


It's highly, highly rare here. Is it fun? Is it like bowling, where people just have a few beers and get out the broom? ;)
