This may be the cheesiest way to buy gifts but money is tight

I'm trying to save up my money but with Xmas I have 6 nieces & nephews who all need gifts.

All I can say is thank goodness for credit card points because all my gifts are being done thru that except 2. (My one niece was shopping with me on Black Friday and saw Jeans she really wanted so I told her I'd get that for her. The other niece I hardly know so it's easier to just give her cash).

But I usually spend about $25 per niece/nephew so this year I asked the 2 local ones - one wants a gas card and the other loves starbucks. The pair from out-of-state like Amazon so I got them each a gift card for that.

That's $100 saved and I'm still getting them really nice gifts.

No one needs to know how you purchased the gifts. Plus, those points are one of your resources and you are using them to be generous to others. :)

one year i used gift cards i'd gotten the previous christmas to get a few presents and i have points for doing harris polls online and i use those to get presents, too.
