Tanning salon worker arrested for sexually abusing customer

PORTLAND, Ore. -- A McMinnville tanning salon employee allegedly tried to help a customer apply spray-on tan, while she was naked, and without her permission.

McMinnville police arrested Michael Ray Retone, a 22-year-old resident of Carlton, Ore., Tuesday on charges that he sexually abused a customer at Bronze Bodies Tanning Salon.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman, told police that Retone entered her private tanning room on Oct. 31 while she was still undressed and insisted on “wiping down” a spray-on tan application in order to “ensure a good tan.”

She said the contact was unsolicited and that he fondled her breasts and genital area.

Retone was jailed in the Yamhill County Correctional Facility and faces two counts of Sex Abuse 3 and one count of privacy invasion.

That happened to me too. I was getting a massage at a salon and the guy started molesting me including penetration. I was not brave enough to go to the cops.

I used to live there, although the Bronze Bodies Tanning Salon didn't exist at the time.

But I had no social life, because all the men I worked with were married, gay, or undefinably weird, and the men in town tended to be either fundies or the type who thought a bar fight was great entertainment.

4. I knew someone years ago who was telling us about a massage she'd gotten

that had clearly (from her description) moved into sexual assault territory. She sorta thought something was wrong, but didn't know for sure because it was her first massage.

Perhaps this guy has done it before, taking advantage of young or inexperienced tanners... :puke:
